Instead of bringing a present the guests RSVP online and make an online contribution. (Anything from R20 upwards) Friday Child pools all the contributions. The birthday child chooses one special gift from all their friends and then makes a contribution to the cause of their choice. Advantages of Friday Child Not only will you be able to make a difference but Friday Child makes life easier for you as well. You can choose from a variety of invitation templates. Just upload the names and e-mail addresses of your guests and an e-mail invitiation will automatically be sent out. Guests can RSVP and make a contribution online. Friday Child will keep records of all the RSVP’s and even send out reminders to those who have not responded. A week before the party the RSVP list will close and the parent will be given the money to buy that special gift. The cause portion will be handed over to the cause of your child's choice and a certificate will be sent to the birthday child stating exactly what the money is being used for and thanking the child for their selfless contribution. You can also e-mail thank you notes to all your guests after the party. ...and finally, but most importantly, the feeling of joy your child will get from giving is priceless.
